The Institute of Migration Sri Lanka (IMSL) is delighted to announce that its official website has been awarded the Bronze Award in the Non-Profit Website category at BestWeb.LK 2026, Sri Lanka's premier national web design competition. The award was presented at a ceremony held on 12th August at the Monarch Imperial.

Organised annually by the LK Domain Registry, BestWeb.LK recognises excellence among ".lk" websites across categories  spanning government, corporate, education, healthcare, tourism, non-profit, and more. Entries are judged on criteria including  content quality, technical functionality, design, user experience, accessibility, and community relevance by a panel of ICT  professionals, academics, and industry leaders. This recognition reflects IMSL's ongoing investment in strengthening its digital  presence for clear, accessible content for the communities IMSL serves.

Being recognised alongside some of Sri Lanka's most established organisations is a proud milestone for a not-for-profit institution focused on migration research, workforce development, and international training programmes. The award affirms IMSL's commitment to ensuring its digital platforms are not just informative, but genuinely useful and well-designed for the students, partner institutions, and stakeholders who rely on them.
