Why?
Sri Lanka has given us more than an education or a career; it gave us our values, our identity, and our sense of belonging. Many Sri Lankans feel that deep bond, even from afar, and want to support the communities that nurtured them.
A significant portion of the Sri Lankan diaspora, who have benefited from these systems, are eager to contribute back to their homelands. However, there is a lack of a structured, verifiable system in the country for donors to conveniently identify relevant projects and measure their progress. Our philanthropic giving platform is a solution to this problem.

Project Donations
Build lasting impact
Carefully identified community development projects that address urgent and practical needs across the country, where timely support can make a meaningful difference in people's daily lives.
Types of projects include:
- Supporting schools and community centers (e.g. building computer labs, providing books and learning resources for students and teachers etc.)
- Improving sanitary facilities in hospitals (e.g. connecting medical equipment, water filters for improved hygiene etc.)
- Restoring and improving essential public services
- Improving school facilities in rural communities
Donors have the option to support active ongoing projects or match with lists to start new projects,
choosing where to support.
To cover our administrative and management costs, a small percentage is retained by IMSL to enable us to
maintain high standards of transparency, accountability, and effective project implementation.
